I graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Civil Engineering. In 1985, after working four years for Fluor Daniel Engineering and Construction, I opened a real estate company called Marland Interest Inc. In November 2000, I established and opened Western Mortgage Corporation. We quickly grew during the refinance boom and currently have about 20 loan officers speaking a total of 7 to 8 different languages. For the last several years we have averaged lending between 45 to 50 million a year. As a native Houstonian you will get the expertise of having a Real Estate Broker as well as a Mortgage Broker overseeing your transaction. I am currently married with five children and each of my children have graduated from college. In our free time, my wife and I enjoy traveling, reading, plays and the arts.
